The Statewide Information Technology Procurement Office offers training opportunities to staff who are involved in the procurement of IT goods and services. Classes are free to all employees of any government entity within the State of North Carolina. Classes are typically held at 3900 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, Conference Room A. Students are expected to actively participate in discussions to receive the most benefit. |
The IT Procurement Office is also available to conduct onsite training or participate in your association’s meeting or event based on availability and resources. |

IT Procurement Rules Review provides a review and discussion of Title 9, Chapter 6, of the North Carolina Administrative Code. This five hour class is designed for new purchasing officers, but will also serve as a refresher for seasoned purchasers. |

The RFP Process provides information about how to develop and write Requests for Proposals. We will also discuss how to plan evaluation and scoring methodologies for the RFP. This five hour class is designed for anyone involved in writing, reviewing, or evaluating RFPs or managing IT contracts. |
